Located on 20 acres, the 105,000 square-foot Salvation Army Kroc Center is the only community center of its kind within the city of Grand Rapids. It’s a place where people young and old have opportunities to learn and grow, to build dreams and friendships, and to find hope in a safe, warm and welcoming environment. From first-time swimmers to experienced athletes, The Salvation Army Kroc Center has something for you and your family.

Fitness Center

  • Cardio equipment includes treadmills, stationary and recumbent bikes, ellipticals, steppers, and more
  • Indoor track (13 laps = 1 mile)
  • A wide variety of group exercise classes for every fitness level
  • Free weight area with benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull-up bars, and more

Aquatics Center

  • Three 25-yard lap lanes
  • Lazy river, giant waterslide, and zero-depth play area
  • Swim lessons for all ages
  • Outdoor splash pad (summer only)

Sports & Recreation Facilities
